Acrylic (polyacrylonitrile) needle-punched felt uses a supporting scrim. Confirm the supplied grade and finish. Legacy reference values list air permeability of 14 m³/m²/min and temperatures of 140°C normal and 160°C instantaneous; these differ from the table below and require confirmation against the applicable product data sheet.
Advantage:
Review chemical compatibility and hydrolysis exposure for the actual temperature, moisture and process conditions.
Application:
Potential applications include industrial dust collection in asphalt, drying and other processes, subject to media compatibility and operating-condition review. Do not assume suitability for every incineration or boiler process.
